Middle School (6th-8th)

The middle school years are a time of growth, questions, and discovering what faith means personally — and at Tree of Life, Confirmation is an important part of that journey. Our Confirmation ministry helps students build a strong biblical foundation while creating meaningful friendships and connections that support them through these important years. 

 Confirmation classes meet Sunday mornings during Sunday School and explore the Old and New Testaments, Lutheran theology, and how faith applies to everyday life. Students are encouraged to ask questions, engage in discussion, and grow in their understanding of God’s grace in a welcoming and supportive environment. 

 Beyond the classroom, students participate in monthly mentor small groups, retreats, service projects, fellowship events, lock-ins, field trips, and special church activities throughout the year. These shared experiences help students deepen both their faith and their relationships with one another. 

 Middle school students are also encouraged to take an active role in worship through opportunities such as serving as acolytes and participating in other worship volunteer roles, helping them feel connected to the larger church family at Tree of Life.
